Safe Homes Rape Crisis Coalition provides a 24-hour hotline for domestic and sexual assault survivors seeking support, resources, hospital accompaniment, and/or shelter.

24-hour services are available to anyone who has been affected by domestic or sexual violence. SHRCC counsels those who need immediate assistance, are working to heal, friends or family of victims and survivors as well as anyone in the community who has questions about these issues.

Your safety is our priority, so all phone calls are completely confidential and our advocates are specially trained to offer support. You can reach our hotline 24/7/365 days and are free of charge.

Teens can meet one-on-one with a trained Community Health Worker to navigate sexual health services and resources for love, sex and healthy relationships.

Spartanburg offers a variety of group-based programming for teens of all ages. In these groups teens will learn about peer pressure, communication skills, responsible decision-making, and the risks of unhealthy relationships all in an age-appropriate manner.  Trained in high quality adolescent services, your teen is in great hands with the health educators of Spartanburg.

Connect offers an online program for ladies in Spartanburg! This online program walks your daughter through the story of Jessica and one of her friends. Teens will learn about the risks of unhealthy decision-making, how to communicate effectively, and how to be empowered to take charge of their health and decisions.

Safe & Supportive Spaces for LGBTQ+ Youth


All Ages

The mission of the Uplift Outreach Center is to provide much needed safe spaces for LGBTQ+ youth and young adults in the Spartanburg and surrounding areas. They are committed to creating an environment shared by community leaders who will assist in providing community resources. The Uplift Outreach Center is the Upstate’s first LGBTQ+ youth center. Our space is located inside Fernwood Baptist Church.

Weekly meetings are on Tuesdays and Saturdays from 3:30 pm-6:30 pm.
