Creating a Positive Classroom Environment Training

This training is geared towards middle and high school teachers. The goal of this training is to provide tools and resources to help create positive environments in the classroom.

Fundamentals of Youth Serving Providers Certificate

This certificate program designed for professionals who work in youth serving organizations. The course combines a trauma-informed framework with positive youth development strategies.

Erin’s Law Training for teachers

This training will prepare facilitators to teach Erin's Law to 10th-12th graders in a class-room setting. Teachers will also receive resources and technical assistance on how to provide high quality education in meeting the Erin's Law requirement.

Becoming a Connect Partner

Connect operates an online resource guide for teens and parents.  One stop for parents and teens on what they need to know is available in Spartanburg County.  To be a partner listed on the Connect website, your agency representative will need to have participated in the Certificate for Fundamental of Youth Serving Professionals at USC Upstate Child Protection Training Center or provide a certificate with similar training objectives from a national accreditation.  

Promoting Connect

Connect promotes opportunities to teens and parents through the online resource guide and social media.  If you would like to promote the website to your teens and families, you can order free materials.
